Setting up a Widget

1

Info Widget

Click edit in the upper right hand corner of the widget. From here you can select an alternate kWh value and/or create a kWh usage goal. You create a goal by specifying a target cost for the the kWh use of the current month. In order for the goal work you will first need to assign your electricity price in the Dashboard Settings, which is found on the right hand side of the dashboard menu under "Show Settings."

2

Real Time Chart

The Real Time Chart for groups has limited settings because the data is aggregated from all of the meters in the group. In this case, watts are the only value that makes sense. However, if you look at a Real Time Chart on an individual meter's dashboard you will see two dropdown menus that you can choose from. You can display one or two plots at a time per widget. If you want to display more than that, just add another widget and choose the vales that you wish to see.

3

Gauge Widget

The Gauge functions in a simliar manner to the Real Time Chart. On group dashboards it has limited settings because the data is aggregated from all of the meters in the group, so only Watts makes sense. However, Gauge Widgets on individual meters' dashboards have a dropdown menu that you can choose various values from.

Calendar Widget

The Calendar Widget displays the current month by default. You can change the month by clicking the one of the two arrows on the right and left edges of the widget, or you can click on one of the miniaturized versions of the months on the bottom.

You can add notes to individual days on the calendar, by clicking the particular day on which you wish to leave a note. Click "Edit Note" and enter your note into the text box. When you are done writing your note, click "Save Note" and then click on the month at the top of the widget to take you back to main view of the calendar. Notes are indicated on the calendar by a small triangle in the corner of the days that have them.

You can change the kWh value by clicking "Edit" in the upper right hand corner of the widget and choosing the value you wish to display from the drop down list. When you are ready, click "Done" to save and reload the widget.

You can also get a total cost for the kWh used during the month to show on the top of the Calendar Widget but must first assign your electricity price in the Dashboard Settings, which is found on the right hand side of the dashboard menu under "Show Settings."

Comparison Chart

The Comparison Chart allows you to compare two time periods of kWh usage. You can choose the duration of the time periods from the drop down menu on the left of the widget. You will then need to select the two time periods from the two green drop down calendar menus. Depending to the duration you have selected, you may need to select particular years, months, or days. Once both time periods are chosen the chart will fill full of the available data.

You can vary the view by alternating between "grouped" or "stacked" bars on the chart. You also have the option to view only one time period by toggling the green circle buttons on the right.

You can change the kWh value by clicking "Edit" in the upper right hand corner of the widget. You can then select an alternate kWh value from the drop-down menu. When you are ready, click "Done" to save and reload the widget.
